Hello,To all Just added LnS need someone to help me with this problem ran a test or 2 & here is what came up all these post are closed 1243,1560,2001,2002,2800,3000, 3700,3128,1080 all are saying closed is there a place to goto find info on what rules would help with this problem Thanks

Hey AAP Are you using Look ‘n’ Stop’s StandardRulesSet.rls or EnhancedRulesSet.rls rule-set? If you using EnhancedRulesSet.rls then you should pass the tests, Look ‘n’ Stop’s EnhancedRulesSet.rls is extremely secure compared to many of Today’s Popular Software Default rule-sets.
Hello,Phant0m First i thank you for talking the time to help i don't see anything anywhere named EnhancedRulesSet.rls also i found this Bloquer les connections entrantes so i add it to LnS & things looked great but after running a ports test all was good then i reboot & that rule i added is gone i replaced it & at reboot same problem the rule is gone so can you give me the link so i can find that EnhancedRulesSet.rls i would like to keep this FireWall if i can well you have a good night Good luck
AAP, Go to the Internet Filtering tab in LnS. At the bottom lower left you will see Save, Save As, and Load. Click on load and select the Enhanced Rule Set. Then click the apply button once that is done.
Hi AAP. The enhanced rules set is included in LnS. You have to load the rule in the internet filtering tab. Click the "load" button and a small window will open listing the rules sets. Click on enhanced rules set and click open button. Same as what JPM posted.

Hi, This rule "Bloquer les connexions entrantes" or "Block incoming connections" is already included in the Enhanced ruleset. If you still have some problem about rules not there after the reboot, could you tell us how many rules the ruleset contains when this occurs ? Regards, Frederic
Hello,Frederic Thanks for talking the time to help & for the info now so far it has not removed any of the rules but when it happens is right after a reboot or if i add a rule or i do some software update like a windows update now when it happens all i have are 8 rules no more so i have to reinstall them not fun at all but just so you don't think it's just LnS it also happens with Kerio odd now i do click Apply then ok or is it Save then ok well i click something hehe so any idea at all why this is going on i also get the same thing with rules i add to sygate well here is what i think i will do remove all the other FireWalls & just run LnS for now see how it gos i think i test more Walls then i should have got to the point i forget which one i am on hehe lol Thank you
You should never run 2 firewalls at the same time. You may think this offers more protection, but in fact it offers less.

When you add or remove rules, make sure you hit the button SAVE before closing LNS or your sys as your rules won't be saved otherwise.
