LnS effect on max net transfer speed?

Long time ago somebody did a network transfer speed test using all software firewalls at that time.

I remember that some of the SW FWs at that time had a huge impact on maximum sustained network transfer speeds.

Now, having to move quite a lot of data through our local network, it'd be nice to know of measurements on the impact of transfer speed that LnS has, if any?

Has anybody done measurements?

I have no figures but in general LNS has minimal effects overall on system resources and, from the post above , on network speed.
