How to configure LNS to allow connections in my p2p app?
How do I make a rule to allow my AV to update. I'm using NOD32.

Look at the P2P section here:

If the update fails, look at the log and try to create a rule from the packet that has been blocked.

Hi,
I saved the modifications made to the StandardRuleSet. Then I loaded another ruleset, and when going back to the StandardRuleSet some modifications are lost. I don't understand this, cause I saved the modifications. Now I have to add the P2P rules etc. again. Can someone explain this pls?

 

There is no known issue around the manual saving of the ruleset. So it should have worked.

Are you sure you used the same name as the original one to save the ruleset ?
Did you look for other ruleset files in Look 'n' Stop folder ?

To allow A/V to update, just let the update app access dns. If you get a prompt for the A/V DLLs to access the net, just ensure they're legit and allow/log
