Hello, ESET-NOD32 on Virustotal detects LMT AntiMalware is "A Variant Of Win32/WinDivert.A Potentially Unsafe" because my app is using Windivert, it's a driver for Web Protection feature.

I see this has a firewall, can I use this with Comodo Firewall without issue? Or should I disable the firewall in this program?

 

Hi, I haven't tested it with Comodo Firewall yet. But the firewall of LMT AntiMalware is just a Basic Firewall, it will show you when an untrusted application tries to connect to the internet and allow you to block the connection. So I think there might not be any serious conflicts.

Comodo detected Windivert.dll as malware.

 

I can't understand why some antivirus always think Windivert is malicious.

 

Unblocked it.

 

Got more FPs from Eset Online Scanner and Windows Defender but they were detecting 3 things in the program files.

 

Hello, which files are detected in the program files folder?

 

I will test this software on my malware testing laptop. Especially how it performs against simple script to disable/modify windows firewall during boot-stage.

Because my software does not have a digital signature so maybe Windows Smartsreen will block it.

Hello, in the last 3 days there have been nearly 230k requests to my cloud database. And I think the current 8 million hashes on the database are not enough to detect malware. So in the future I will try to import more data into it.
