Linux patent suit ruled against Google. Bad News.

    Google is going to defend the open source community. It has the deep pockets to do so. The ruling is not going to make it walk away from Linux.

    Stop deluding yourself. Google is a company out to make a profit, that is what they will defend. They are not open source freedom fighters.

    A patent troll not part of Linux huh. Bad news indeed that they somehow succeeded.

    They are in it to make a profit. But they also use Linux for their operating system. What benefits them also benefits the open source community.
