o.k. then it is not just my system.

I have found F-secure (latest version) to have the sloooooooooowest scan of all the AV's I have trialed. I have trialed many.

Slow scan and it slowed several of my machines to a crawl. I have tested them all, and F-Secure on my machines was the slowest of all AVs I ever tested.

I've found that in EVERY version I've tested with F-Secure.

BitDefender 2008(not the full suite) seems light although it contains an antiphising module.

    this forum is biased!
    well i disagree about F-Secure,

2008 certainly isnt all that bad, and browsing is super fast with F-Secure.

only 'slowness' ive seen is to boot up, of which .. 2008 does a better job at this.

ESS has http scanning, but I don't notice it at all. Kaspesrky made it quite slow with KIS, Norton was quite ok with IS2008.
