Well fellow mars explorers I have to go to california tomorow morning and load up a simi truck and trailer with my sons furniture and belonginings and then drive the truck back out here to oklahoma. I will be gone about six to eight days. I will hitch a ride on a shuttle and get back up here to mars. ;)
Be sure to keep an eye on the stooges, there is no limit to the trouble they can get into.
In the attached picture that is me trying out my hover bike. It is pretty cool.

Have a safe trip bigc. We'll see you when you get back.

If anyone wants to see what the effects of an asteroid impact would be try here.
You can change the parameters (asteroid size, speed, composition, etc). It's very interesting. I ran Cochises 70 mile wide asteroid through the simulator and all I can say is, that being 5000 miles from the impact point isn't far enough for an iron asteroid traveling at 40,000 mph. In not too long after impact, you'd be burried under 62+ feet of dust, dirt, and ash.
Like I asked before, you were joking weren't you Cochise? :'(

Tried out that little asteroid test, almost blew me and my computer away! I think I will leave anymore testing to the scientist type or at least until I get a gigx8,(I have no idea, it is apparently something the generation after this next gen is working on o_O (i.e.6and 7 yr olds)!! I'm just catching up with the last one!

We have found some signs of intelligent life within the zoo here, thought you would be happy to hear that!

Permission asked for temporary relief of duty of mighty Infinity quest.:)

    To: Captain Uguel
    From: Slammer

    Captain oh captain...

    I'm also sorry I haven't been around lately (it's been quite a while...)
After being witness of a fabuluos landing on Mars (thank you all crew!) I have been stuck for some time with some bug-experiments; after that my attention was needed for some urgent matters on earth (job-applications for after this mission...;)).
And finally, I was invited by dear old snowbound to start a thread about soccer (of which I was flattered and very willing to act opun here); which is now consuming most of my time.
That's why I humbly ask permission to get (temporary) relief of duty on board of this mission. I think other well-qualified new 'crewmembers' have already proved their capability of becoming very skillful and pleasant company aboard! :)
Apologies for not notifying sooner ; in expectation of understanding I await the greenlight;) .
It was(and still is!) a mindblowing fantastic experience; thanks to all of you.
Meanwhile, obviously I will keep on monitoring:ninja: your progress, exciting experiences, stories and fun. How could I ever turn my back on you all? :)

A salute to my captain and her fabulous Infinity crew!

    Regards,
    Slammer:cool:

Have been trying to keep the "natives" to a schedule until you return, Oh Captain (and Intrepid AAAdventurers)!!

Finally found a TimeClock that the natives would respect! Yes, there are many un-answered questions about the "THREE", some we may never know, clearly they are the root of civilization, as we, don't know yet.

    Regards,

    The Landing Security Base
(Come home safe! We don't know how to drive this tin can!!) (Sorry for the outburst! But, CAN YOU AT LEAST WRITE!!!)New Security in Place!

I heard there are fabulous prizes involved, so you bet. No, This thread started with some interesting discussion and like a child, learned to roll over, then crawl, then walk, then run, then fly. Who knows where it will go next. There's a whole universe to explore. Who knows, it may still be going in the year 2400.

We do have lots of fun with this thread. 2400? Right! That's why I called the rocket Infinity for it has a long voyage to go! Although the Stooges' Bus was past recovery, we found that the Stooges were quite alive and well and only needed a line dropped so they could get out of (another) hole they dug for themselves! :D

Hey thanks Slammer, that is very nice of you :) Although I cannot post as often as before, I will come from time to time. Soon we will have to go back on earth so watch out for the take off! Finally we built our own Martian Station called :"?" I haven't decided yet... it will be a research center, and a launch pad for trips to the moon and other planets. *puppy*

Well at least I made it back in time for the trip to earth. Seems like I have been gone a month instead of a week. It is good to be back in the crew of the Inifinity. ;)

Now we need to decide where the next mission of Inifinity will take us. :D ;)

Hey Marja, can we arrange the time continuum to keep only paydays? That would be pretty neat trick!!! :D Bigc, I'm so glad you're back, we all missed you here! :) :) :)

When I looked at the sky I thought of Emerson's words:"The sky is
