I knew we should have investigated Larry, Moe, and curly a little better.

 

Actually they wern't helping any spies. They were testing a new emergency escape vehicle. I don't think we'll be using it. Just not big enough.

 

I am glad we won't be useing that.

Right now I am watching that movie on american movie classics. It reinforces my concern about having them as crew members. These guys are nuts.

 

If I had the money they made, I'd be nuts too. Ummm, wait a minute, I am nuts. I wonder when the checks are gonna start rolling in?

Oh captain my captain we are ready for the departure into the void. We are exercising a little levity to relieve a little stress associated with the waiting.Rest assured that we are ready on a moments notice.Even with the rauceous humor ongoing we are in the process of rechecking all onboard systems and making sure that all supplies are accounted for. We have stowed all documation available for our destination. I have initiated an electrical integrity test even as we speak. I have run a +4 vacume test to insure the integrity of Inifinitys double hull everything checked out well into safety reduntancy It seems that all that remains to be done is to gather at the launch site on our preset departure date. I hope that all members of the crew are looking forward to the voyage as much as I am. We are going to make history that the future will not soon forget.I have made room for some special items for the crew that I will distribute during the flight. Just a little something to make what little down time we will have a little more bearable. Well captain I have to make a few few calls to NASA and the FAA To confirm that the air space will be clear for our launch.I will be in touch to keep you up to speed on any further developments.

Aye Captain. It's exactly as science officer bigc said. Just a little levity to ease the tension. The worst thing we could have is a bunch of tensed up astronauts on a long trip in a confined space.
Actually, science officer bigc and myself have been working very dilligently checking and rechecking every system on the ship, and I'm happy to report that everything is functioning properly and is ready to go.

 

I wish the new starship would be finnished in time so we could take it. It sure would be a unique experience. Maybe on our second voyage.

 

I'm relieved that you said that for I have already bought the shuttle now. It isn't a transparent one but it's quite a solid one. Anyways, remember our voyage will be very long....We can't afford to change to a newer model every week. Transparent ones look great but how long will they last? Think of meteorites for instance, what would happen if one of those crash through our cockpit window

I'd better not think about it!!! Also, as you mentioned, the three stooges were pretty rich and, see, they did travel into space with very cheap rockets and clearly they always made it back. We can't say the same with today's modern equipment, can we?

I hope the accomodations on Infinity are more advanced then the ones shown on this rocket of theirs!!! At the very least, a restroom would be advised!!

 

We have more than that, of course. What do you expect mr. Perez? Bigc 's rocket is veeeeeeeeeery nice but it won't last too long I'm afraid. It would be fine to fly over hip places such as Hollywood or La Cote d'Azur but this isn't cinema here it's reality!

 

Don't worry Captain. Infinity can take it.

 

... but can the three stooges? They have shown great staying power over the years but ....

 

Inifinity will make history and make us proud. But the transparent one is made of chrystaline lexan which is sixty five stronger than the material now used to construct space ships. But as with with the shuttle class space ships there is something to be said about proven relability. I do want to make it back

 

as long as they don't try to open the screen door while in space.

 

Of course we will, we have one of the best rockets ever made!!!

 

If time permits I as science officer would like to investigate some structures that were photographed by a drone fly over. I would would invite your input on this

I don't think I'd worry about them opening the "screen door", because if it is a "screen door"? why would it matter if it's open or closed? The thing I'd be wondering about is who put it on in the first place? And don't be looking at me. I don't put screen doors on submarines and spacecraft.

 

IMO it had to be Larry, Moe or curly joe.
