libreoffice 3.5 on Lucid via PPA

Finally the ppa gets updated for Lucid and Oneiric.

I'm still on 3.4.4. When an update is pushed out, I'll accept it.

 

The reviews are very good on 3.5, I was already on 3.4, in Windows world, they are actively pushing version 3.5 and its running quite good here on Lucid, sadly no ppa yet for Oneiric.

 

Looks like the global menu problem is still there?

 

I installed the libreoffice toolbar and have no issues.

Yep, am aware of these issues but then considering the spate of improvements 3.5 brings, I am happy to live with it at the moment, works flawlessly on my LTS as well as Unity Laptop and netbook.

 

intersting i didnt install yet 3.5 on ubuntu base but i am using in on SL its good fast

and better nice to see it on ubuntu LTS and others )
