Hey Don, what's with the fish? o_O

    They stink. :p

Don't follow Miami that closely but it seems since Ricky left, they can't get it together. :doubt:

I guess the quarterback situation isn't helping either.....

    Tell u what Don,

since u and i cheer for 2 of the worst teams in football this year, how about we pit them head to head in a new contest we could call the Wannabe Superbowl. :D

It could be held, let's say, 1 week after the Superbowl, just in time to fight for TV ratings with that all time sports classic, the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. :p

    Yuck. *puppy*

    Eastern semi final tonight!

Wonder what i'm talking about? o_O

Well, it's my hometown Toronto Argonauts(with homefield advantage) versus our most hated rivals, the Hamilton Tigercats. They preside just 30kms. down the road from us.

Time to kick some tabby butt!

    Go Argos go!

    Where's dog when i need him, i know he'll be watchin.;) :D ;) :D

Didn't want to start a new thread so i just thought i'd borrow some time here. Hope u all don't mind.

    Well, that's close enough.:D

We do have a larger field then the standard NFL one.

We also have some very strange rules. One of the strangest, explained here,

    @Ronjor,

Yes, good start, score early and often.;) :D

Especially in this league where a 30 point lead is not safe.

    Yes! :D

No shutout, but that's Canadian Football. ;)

Now, the showdown in Montreal. It'll be tough but hell, as anyone nows, Canadian Football, anything can happen.

Thanks to Noel Prefontaine, our kicker out of San Diego State.

Don't know if my heart can take 2 more hopeful rounds... ;)

This CFL stuff sounds interesting. Do they ever show it on ESPN in the states?

It used to be on ESPN2. Not sure now.....

    Check your local listings.

ESPN is a specialty channel up here so u need to pay extra to get it.

If u ever do get a chance to see a game, TV or otherwise, check it out, u might like it.;)

    Hi Snowbound

Sorry, i didn't notice your post(s) before now. We stink ;), no doubt about that, but i have armed myself with patience and almost hope that they finish as the worst team this year (shouldn't be too difficult, we are heading in the right direction ;) :D ), this way we get rid of Wannstedt and will be in a position to trade down for more pick's in next year's draft, but i have to admit that it's difficult to think like this, i mean deep down you always wish that your team will win, don't you. o_O :doubt:
Well, i always did like Hawaii. ;) :D

We got used to them being there all the time so it's hard to see them do so badly now....

    He is gone.

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Dave Wannstedt resigned Tuesday as coach of the Miami Dolphins, forced from the job by lousy luck, relentless speculation about his future and eight losses in nine games.

Yes. It's for the best, for both Wannstedt and the team i think. The ridicule and personal attack's from fans had gotten to a point where i think it wasn't worth it anymore. Of course being told that you're going to be let go after the season probably did make the decision easy for him. ;)
Plus he does get paid ($2 mill a year) until the end of 2005 anyway, i wish my boss were that generous, i only get three month's if i get "sacked". :D

Nick Saban, is my hope for the future. :) :)
