I've never ever watched anything so exciting as Basketball......one team get the ball....run down to the other end and score......then the other team get the ball and run down to the other end and score...........then the other team get the ball and run down to the other end and score.....then the other team get the ball and run down to the other end and don't score....(Applause and Cheers)....then the other team get the ball and...........

Absolutely enthralling.......the excitement and interest was so intense I think I might have wee-wee'd myself.......but, instead, to relieve my excitement and tension, I went and changed my Library books...then I watched the wind blowing a dead leaf about in my Driveway........:D :D :D :D :D

Well, I suppose you could run back and forth and never score. :D

Didn't see the Longhorns play - sorry they lost. I guess they will continue their drop in the polls. Fortunately for TX and KY, polls right now don't matter much. Now in March, that's a different matter.

I did watch the Wildcats pounce all over the Cards. Actually, they are my two favorite teams. I did want KY to win, but only by a couple. I began following Wildcat basketball afterall because I like Pitino. :D

Kentucky Wildcats are really struggling. But the Louisville Cards are looking great! It's going to be an interesting season.

Duke falls. And so do a couple of other undefeated teams. Since I am anything but a duke fan, I say... YEAH!

And then there were none: Duke, Pitt, Florida fall

No undefeated teams left in the standings. :D

...and Duke knocked out of the #1 spot (which I must admit I was glad to see). What could be next? How about a long Duke losing streak. :D

Kentucky Wildcats escaped a close one today. Had to come from 18 down to do it. Unfortunately, it was against a so-so team.

Kentucky is not listed in the top 25 this year. What's up? :D

That's unusual. Having a bad year. I'm not happy about it...

Texas is ranked--and they lost another yesterday. Looks like Duke is the team to beat again this year. :(

Kentucky won tonight. Looked pretty good. And Texas is currently winning, too. So far not a bad night. :D

Texas is not going to make it the way they are playing. No consistency at all.

Sorry to hear that. Would be nice to have two championships in one year.

Well, Ron - Kentucky lost again. Looks like this will be one of the few years in history they don't make it to the "big dance". Hope the Longhorns are doing better - haven't had a chance to read the paper lately.

Daisey, Texas isn't playing anybody. I don't know why they have them ranked so high. The only competition they played beat them.
I guess they look good on paper.

Well, here we go again! March Madness is finally here.

Kentucky made the tourney. I was worried earlier in the year they might not get in. Now that doesn't mean they will make it far. They first have to make it past UAB, and that will take some effort. But if they do, then there is UConn. Enough said...

I watched TX fall to Kansas today in the conf tourney final. Texas looked good, but not as good as KS - they were really hitting the 3's. If they continue shooting like that, they can go all the way.

Starts Wednesday. Fasten your seat belts - here we go! :D

Well, UK falls to UCONN. Not unexpected, but disappointing. UT still looking good. Hope they can continue their run... :)

I'm not taking that bet. :D Kentucky looked good. UC got a break. :D

The teams are all evenly matched again. No slouches in the bunch.

Good to such efforts and results from Bradley (5000 students) and George Mason, who has played some great D.

Good article on why smaller schools can compete against the larger schools. Yahoo
