Latest stable Chromium for Ubuntu

    I installed stable Chromium using software center. But they don't provide updates, it is stuck 18. and ppa's don't have 19. Where can i download latest stable Chromium?

    That's a problem with Chromium + Ubuntu for quite sometime. Second, there's nothing like a "stable" Chromium, officially.

    I just use Chrome with the advantage of getting the Flash Player built-in and secured.

    The thing is Stable Chrome versions hanging when opening new tab page, less responsive compared to Chromium somehow. Chromium packaged for Ubuntu much more responsive. And using 64 bit, 64 bit versions doesn't have built-in flash.

    Chrome beta 64bit does have PPAPI Flash.

    IDK what to tell you. The Chromium repositories are crap.

    I installed latest stable Chrome, it is responsive now. Interesting! Maybe the first release of 19 had issues! This one is second update for 19. It is OK for now.

    Lately I use an extension that downloads the most recent daily dev build for Chromium, ever since the ppa went to hell.

    Also stuck in 18... anyway to fix this? Or i need to change to another browser? thanks

    Event relative repos don't provide latest stable chromium. Install Chrome!

    Thanks, i'll do that. I'm on Bodhi Linux but the install procedure should be the same. Is there any guide? I'll i get updates for chrome using sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade?

    Just download it from chrome.google.com and double click. Yes, you will get updates.
