    Today, I upgraded Kubuntu 20.04.5 to 22.04.1 (as a partially clean installation, keeping /home).

    To my surprise, in Kate version 21.12.3, the tab order is reversed to what it was in Kubuntu 20.04. Now when I open a series of documents in Kate, the next document is opened in a tab to the right to the first one, just the way I like it. Nice change.

    Further adventures -
    Firefox snap didn't find my earlier Firefox non-snap profile. Only after I removed Firefox snap and the snap Firefox directory and then re-installed Firefox snap, now it found my earlier profile and all is well.

    And for some reason, in Kubuntu System Settings\ Hardware\ Driver Manager\ Software Sources\ Additional Drivers\ the NVIDIA driver was displayed but could not be selected, I had to install the NVIDIA driver from the CLI, which worked fine. Now the NVIDIA driver is correctly displayed in Driver Manager.

    Those Firefox and NVIDIA issues were easy to fix, but there shouldn't be such issues in 22.04.1 LTS, of course.

    @Mrkvonic,

    In the May 11, 2022, article Kubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish review - Okay, not LTS-y enough, you wrote:

    "Furthermore, if you do want to change the system menu icon, the system only has the blue-themed Kubuntu logo available, not the black & white one, so not sure where that icon comes from."

    That default icon is located at
    /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/kubuntu/icons/start.svgz

    Source:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Kubuntu/comments/129wvmv/comment/jepcv0d/

    It is the same in Kubuntu 24.04.

    In Kubuntu 24.04, in System Settings/ Appearance/ Plasma Style/ I changed the default Kubuntu Focus style to Breeze Dark.
    As a result, the Kubuntu system menu icon (or Application Launcher menu icon) changed to the KDE Plasma icon.
    And indeed, there was no black & white Kubuntu icon to be found in Application Launcher Settings to restore the default.
    However, in Application Launcher Settings/ General/ Icon/ Choose/ Browse/ you can browse to and select:
    /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/kubuntu/icons/start.svgz
    This restores the default Kubuntu system menu icon (Application Launcher menu icon).
