    can the KIS license be used with KAV.

    Neither the KIS licence can be used with KAV nor vice-versa

    Although because Kaspersky is modular, upon installation of KIS, you can choose not to install certain features, (eg, Firewall and Parental Control) so it will be similar to KAV.

    Not sure if you can make v2009/2010 exactly the same as KAV or not because of the application filter. Older versions you could.
