    good deal

I'm torn between whether I should try Panda or not. Since I'm not allowed to ask which is better I'll have to try it out myself. In place of AVG, not KAV.

The best thing to do is to try it, and then uninstall it if you don't like it.

I just might do that right now.

Edit: Well that was easy enough. I haven't noticed any slowdowns like other people have mentioned about Panda. I'll see how it works out.

I installed Comodo Firewall a few minutes ago and Defense+ is blocking Kingsoft.

That sucks because I trust and like KAV.

In KSAV in Settings and Trusted Files you could add anything Comodo so it won't try to see what Comodo is doing..

Let both D+ and Firewall in Learning mode for a day (usually is enough),this will resolve your problems with blocked programs.

Comodo considers Kingsoft as trusted vendor.
What kind of alerts do you get?

Comodo GUI Flags other EXE's that try to access memory of Comodo EXE's as Intrusions. They can probably just be ignored..

Defense+ -> Computer Security Policy -> scroll to COMODO Internet Security -> right click Edit -> Customize -> Protection Settings -> make sure that option Interprocess Memory Accesses is set to Active and click on Modify -> Add -> browse for application executable -> Apply.

I'm liking it, but the utilities are lacking compared to the older PC Doctor.

I have to say, that after switching to KS av my system is way more responsive over all.
It seemed that CIS av was causing some kind of bottleneck.
    I suppose mileage varies though...

None that I've come across yet. I'll keep my eye open though.
