Kingsoft Antivirus 2012 [Cloud]

It works in firefox for me. Win7 pro 32 bit. Standard protection. Finds the text and exe. Doesn't find the 2 zip files though.
Kingsoftsecurity....What 2 engine's does the current SP 5.0 use?

 

My machine is 64bit, so there is some difference in the way Kingsoft works on it I guess?

 

Please press F5 to refresh your browser, because the download link is always the same, and browser stores cache for the same link. I installed the sp4 again and check the built-in updater, it works without any problems, could you please check it again? After updating, it reminds you to take a restart to active the changes.

BTW, I'm using the Win7 64bit.

Please reopen or refresh the website to download the new build.
And you should restart Kingsoft Antivirus to the latest version sp5.0 if you update throught built-in updater.

There are no difference on this issue between 32bit and 64bit.

 

I am now getting a warning in Chrome and Dragon just seconds after I click on the eicar test link. Also, my USB scan is now much faster with the same USB stick.

Ok. I don't use that so maybe that is why.

Currently Freedownload Manager is not supported.

 

Local engine and Cloud engine as SP4.0

 

It still gives me the 11.7 MB download. The built-in updater updates the signature libraries just not the program. May be, Comodo is blocking it.

 

Can someone upload the latest installer for me? Their website still throws the old version at me.

That's where software incompatibility kicks in. Comodo is definitely interfering with its installation even though I have the exclusions set nicely in both programs. The idea of keeping two real time security programs is definitely a huge failure (as I have learned now).

Thanks for your dump files, our dev investigated them this morning, but unfortunately can't find the final reason.
Is that possible to reproduce the issue and recatch these 2 dump files for analyse? And that will be nice if send us below 2 scan logs too.

Ok, I have had enough.

I got the set up file from another PC, and installed version SP5.0. But, when I updated it, and after restarting the program, it again shows SP4.0. Haha. This is ridiculous.

I won't give it another chance now. gdiloren was so right about it. It is indeed a mediocre software.

I'm quite sorry about it. After updating, it should be already updated to sp5, EVEN it shows 4.0 on the label. Please check the settings - boundry defense. The old one should show the automatical removal for virus file.

We've checked couple servers and they're working right now. Which country are you staying?

 

I had a similar problem when I updated via the program. It came up as SP 4.0 till reboot. If I went it "About" on the menu it showed SP 5.0. SP 4.0 is still a good version.

 

You should give them a chance to resolve this issue
all programmers at one time or another have server issues
