I have a friend who got hit by a kiddie hacker - he was using Ammyy to remote at times and he must have accepted a remote rogue session Long story short - someone installed Diskcrypt software on his machine. system partition and secondary partition now show as raw when inspecting the hdd on another machine. I tried some disk recovery programs and you can actually access the system partition and save usable files from it (not encrypted ?) The problem is that his second partition is showing a total blank when using any recovery method or program. can anyone intimate with Diskcrypt share some light ? the diskcrypt forum is sadly closed for registration.
