I'm using KS Premium on 4 systems for several month now, without problems.

    Technically, No.
KeyScrambler is designed to thwart any software/process/program keylogger which may run inside your OS environment.

If you want to prevent malware overwriting your keyboard firmware, better get some good HIPS which can detect low level device access. So that any such malware run inside OS environment will be blocked.

Maybe the bug doesn't exist in KeyScrambler Premium :doubt:

Is the free version of KS a browser add-on, or a standalone app like the Premium version? Never had the free version.

I'm sure it does. It only happens under certain circumstances.
The key is replicating the conditions and forwarding them to the developer.
If the problem appears, close all browsers and start from scratch. This will
fix the problem. Not an ideal solution, but it will work until a solution is found.

They gave me the latest version 2.4.1.11 for testing. Let's hope bug 2 is gone :doubt:

Edit: KeyScrambler is working for over 8 hours without any problems! :)

Free version is same as premium. Only difference being that Free only supports 3 browsers: IE, FF and Flock. Premium supports more apps.

Okay, I guess most uses Hips but such Hips like Comodo becomes sabotaged on a regular basis from internet or via bugs, so Hip is no guarantee.

I think it is better to stay with earlier versions until bugs are fixed.

An hour ago it happened again: KeyScrambler disappeared and Firefox crashed! I'm thinking of removing it, it makes no sense :'(
