And they wouldn't anyway because they know there are already countless tin-foil hat wearers watching their every move. I am not worried about Microsoft.I was just curious.I use KeyScrambler because its a novelty.Its not allowing me to type in this forum(scrambling words) and had to turn it off.
Maybe you should check out an AES encrypted keyboard. I don't know who makes the keyboards and mice for Microsoft but I have several of the Desktop 5050 sets here and love the construction, function and "feel" of both the keyboard and mouse. I am right handed but use my mouse in my left hand so I particularly like the feel of the "universal" (not contoured shape) mouse. Being wireless, however, for my main (heavily used) computers, they do go through batteries every 4 - 6 months. This is one area where I recommend rechargeables.

It's actually quite a simple and smart concept, even if you're infected with a standard keylogger, it can't actually record any keystrokes. Keep in mind that sometimes you might be fooled into thinking some app is legitimate, a firewall won't help when this app needs to connect out, think of a download manager. What does this have to do with KeyScrambler? I thought that I already explained that KeyScrambler does something way different.

It's just that this was the second time I see you mentioning AES encrypted keyboards in a thread about keystroke encryption, so it wasn't clear to me if you did understand that they do different things. An AES encrypted keyboard will not protect against keyloggers running in system memory. They will protect against hackers that are trying to tap into the wireless signal between keyboard and receiver.
I know the difference. The very fact I said they would not be redundant indicates I know there is a difference. I am saying if you are paranoid enough, if you are physically located in such an insecure area, and if your current computer security solution is so inadequate that you actually need a separate anti-keylogger, then an AES encrypted keyboard might give you a better sense of security.

You know what I don't get? SpyShelter protects just about all apps out of the box, I wonder why KeyScrambler can't do the same. On the other hand, perhaps focusing on specific apps gives you certainty that they will be protected against keyloggers correctly. Because the developer has verified it.

it;s literally the only dedicated to key encryption programme that is still updated, the other programmes do alot of other things besides encrypting
as said, HPA is not dedicated, it does alot of things, the last one dedicated was zemana , in version 1.9.2 I think, later they added anti-malware component and the product started to degrate on key-encryption part and keystroke capture resistance, old zemana was not bad, it would detect modifications of programmes or attempts to capture keystrokes you can still download that version is very nice however if license runs off, HPA becomes a dedicated keystroke cryptor with usb protection added
