    Hi ruinebabine,
Regarding to "the tiny annoyance", I already know what you mean and no need to upload the screenshots again. We will improve it soon. Thank you a lot for pointing out that.

Regarding to the "cd recovery GUI in french" issue, it isn't available now because we are still working on the multi-language version, but it will be available soon.

    Thanks.

The Keriver 1-Click Restore Free and PRO is for restoring your system drive. Where as Keriver Image is for backup and so forth.

    Best regards,

Thank you King of Rapture for the clarification.

    Hi River,

thanks for your help. I am perfectly ok with your answerings on both of my 2 little annoyances reported here and will wait for your announced solutions. They're no biggies and, right now, truely enjoy using your two backup programs on my 2 PCs.

Also, my sister told me that she could be interested to use Keriver Image for their company, they have to change their backup strategies from next month and on. Could you tell me if there is a particular license/price for using in a bizzness (I think they make use of maybe about 10 pcs).

Now could you also, by any chance, answer my first question about this little partition?

    Thanks again, bud!

    Hi ruinebabine,
Thank you for your help. :)
For business use, they must purchase a license copy for each separate computer on which Keriver Image is installed, used, or accessed. And if your sister's company would purchase 10 licenses one time, I will give them a discount also. Please contact me before they want to purchase Keriver Image.

    Thanks.

I recently purchased IFW - http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ Have not used as yet.

Would it be redundant to purchase this special offer which expires Jan 6 ? - http://www.keriver.com/ Does this offer include both as mentioned here ?> Keriver And Horizondatasys > https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1807076&postcount=9

P.S. I know I irritated a certain someone when I asked about imaging previously...but I haven't a clue and have been relying on FD-ISR. So if my understanding of these kind of programs is lacking...please forgive!

    Hi there,

Keriver has two programs which are on sale until Jan 6, 2011.

Keriver 1-Clk Restore PRO v2.xx is on sale for $12 and it only makes images of the system drive. An easy to use program. It has a Free version, which only does base-line image, and no incremental or differential like the PRO version.

Keriver Image is on sale for $18, which is a complete backup. You don't need both Keriver Image and Horizondatasys Drive Clone. It appears that Horizondatasys Drive Clone is an older version of Keriver Image v5.xx

    Kind regards,

    KOR!

Hi KOR!, thanks for the explanation. However, when I go and check the pricing for Restore Pro 2.1, it shows as US$19.99...and nothing about a discount. I must looking in the wrong location. :doubt:

Excellent decision, and you won't regret it!

You can use it at as many computers in your home use. Just send him an email with your activation key and numbers of PCs in your home.

    Kind regards,

So does anyone use the free version? If so, are there any issues?

Also, does this program need my stystem restore disabled- as well as defragger?

    thanks

ok thanks for the info- one more question-
if I try to save my images to a portable hard drive (I assume that's ok) how much space should I figure I will need for this? My C drive is 250 GB and is about 1/2 full. I have a portable hard drive that has about 180 GB free space (and is FAT32 format if that makes a difference)

    also one more question-

if, for instance I get a malware infection and decide to go back to a previous image, do I need anything special for my computer to boot up or does this program take care of all that for me?

I suppose for the price I might as well go for the paid version if there's any appreciable difference.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit and I see it has a built in image making program- I read this entire thread and still am kinda confused whether this K1-CR is an image program or a snap shot program and if there really is much difference. I guess it is different than RollbackRX in some form or fashion?

    thanks for the help
