    why does your software flag eset during install?? blocking post.securestudies.com/tapaction etc.... does so each time you progress in the installer

    Would you please send me (support [_AT_] kcsoftware.som) a screenshot of ESET warning ? I'd like to have my sponsor working on AV compliance with ESET and such evidence would be of great use.

    Call me crazy, but I think ESET is doing exactly what it should be doing by warning you about the bundled adware and its connection attempts.

    Free software isn't really "free" and the developer has to recoup the cost of making it available. So I can live with a reasonable amount of advertising sans nag screens for the useful features that it offers. :thumb:

    I completely understand that and it is exactly why I donated. Some may disagree, but in my opinion charging a price or donations is the better way as compared to bundling adware. Morally, I feel much better having directly paid something to the developer over ignoring or avoiding whatever bundled advertising is included.

    You're probably right but, for a full month of "active" donation links + donation recomm on ALL SUMo pages .... the facts are that YOU are the ONLY ONE user who made a donation so far... :-(

    That's pretty sad. I don't blame you at all for bundling adware given those statistics. Actually, I have never faulted you for that because, unlike a lot of other developers, you do make versions available without any bundled software, facebook icons, etc. I guess the only option to increase revenue is to force everyone to choose between a paid ad-free version or a free ad-bundled version. :'(
