KAV settings question

    One question about the settings in KAV Personal, both the monitor and the scanner: Which particular setting triggers the unpacking of packed files. Is it the "archives with self-extractors" setting or is the unpacking engine always on?

    Just curious, because I don't see any unpacking engine related setting in the options and the manual/help file is no help either.

    KAV Personal monitor and scanner settings?

    Try unchecking the box "scan compund files of the following types" in both the monitor and the scanner. ;)

    Thanks for the reply,

    however even with compound files off, KAV detects packed files as being packed...
