I notice a new KAV 5.0.388 on ebay. I don't keep up with KAV, and do not know if this is a late or old version. Is this the latest prior to V6?

If anyone needs one it might be worth a look. There is also a suite, but I don't know what version.

I'm not sure who Brian thinks is doing the horizontal jogging, but just to be clear. Kaspersky does not sell 3 year licenses, so if someone is selling a 3 year license i would not buy. I would in fact not buy a key through Ebay at all, but thats just my preference.:)

Thanks. The item is at $4.99 with free shipping. One bid. I don't need one at this time.

    I appreciate the speedy response.

388 is the latest downloadable version but it should update to 390 to cover the Magic Byte vulnerability.

Thats true, but it depends on what you would descripe as "a version", the .390 designation is simply a 64kb vulnerability-patch (not the Magic Byte vulnerability btw) nothing else.

If there is anyone out there with a Kav 5.0 version which has not downloaded the patch auto, then it can be downloaded here. :)

Question: surfing google there are a lot of reg keys for KAV.
May these keys contains malicious code or trojan like inside?

    Thanks

Wilders does not condone any method of obtaining illegal licences and yes, you may easily infect your system by using illegal software or crackz.

No m8s, i don't want illegal software!!!!!I use f-secure and i know my cc numbers.
Just only a question, may these reg keys be dangerous?
There are lots of them over the net, why if these files are not dangerous?

    Thanks

A Pilli already pointed out, we will not go any where near the subject of warez here.

Remember that nothing in the world is free ... Generally sites that provide that type of material, are only using it as a ploy to get you to visit so they can drop their payload (malware) on you.

Piracy costs us all, less revenue means less resources for development. etc.

Seeing as the original purpose of this thread has been fulfilled, and this thread has venture down a path that is against our TOS. This thread is now -Closed-.

    Regards;

    Steve
