However, as you seem to be well covered with AVK, McAfee, GAV and NOD, as much as I like KAV, do you really need another AV program? Maybe a good AT program would be a better bet for your general security.

If McAfee does not remove an advertising oriented program from it's instant updater, then I will replace McAfee ... I paid $0 for it (competitive upgrade) and I won't give them the business from av subscriptions if they force adware on me...

Then I will decide what to do.. I only use GAV on Demand... No realtime, the RTM was way too intense for my computers... So, in protest to McAfee, I WILL dump them if they don't dump that updater... See this thread and you'll understand...

dumping Mc afee is a wise thing to do. Nothing wrong with GAV, KAV, NOD or Norton
