What's the latest on the new release?

It's been in the sidelines for a while.

Is DriveSentry GoAnywhere exclusively designed for U3 smart devices? Would I be able to run it on a regular USB Flash Drive?

There is a new GoAnywhere U3 version that will only run on a U3 device.

There is however also DriveSentry GoAnywhere, this will work your portable usb/media device`s here

No idea. I was waiting until I read something here. I did notice they have a "cloud" version now. Not sure what that is.

I think cloud is just a lite version without the signature database, although there is an option to download the signature database on install.

Can you do this manually with the free version? Or is it just exclusive to the paid one?

Forum is still down. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Fortunately Drivesentry has been working without issue for me lately.

    Hi Guys,

Yes the forum was down as some of us moved to a new office including the forum server, so sorry

Ok lots of questions to answer....

Paid and Free = If you buy DriveSentry then you get signatures download in the background (we call this trickle) if you don't then you get a pop-up window when new signatures are available and you have to click a button (similar to other AV products). DriveSentry can use our server in the "cloud" or download the data to your local drive. The local version is a safeguard if your not online or a Virus blocks net access.

The dev team has been busy with GoAnywhere V2 which is ready for release. The focus has been on GoAnywhere for the last month or so as we have a number of deals in the pipeline.

This doesn't mean we have forgotten about Desktop version :argh: so we are now fixing the memory usage which we has been tracked down. Microsoft have recognized DriveSentry as an A/V product which means we have to do some modifications to the software to stop the Windows message when you don't have a A/V product installed

Also we have the most of the work complete on the new anti-root kit technology ready but once again GoAnywhere work has kept us focused elsewhere. I'm hoping a new build is ready this week but if not then I will chase developers up!

    Thank you,

    Kate!!

This keeps up and i'll have to make room for DS myself. Been reading a lot of interest and rave reviews over this but been too busy to step into the download circle for it. THATS GOTTA CHANGE NOW

Go Anywhere is very appealing since i been having a time keeping some my captures to stay put :cautious:

    Kees,

I've got the rootkit design spec and here are some of the features to protect drivers.

    - DDT (Driver dispatching table) protection.
    - IAT (Import address tables) protection.
    - Code section protection.
    - Device Object Stack security protection.
    - Export address table protection.
    - Cave code injection protection.
    - Extended DDT protection.

I know you guys are experts in this field so please let me know if it presses the right buttons :D

As for timescales the GUI is being udpated now to include the features. I know the team are working over Christmas so I would guess week after next but as I said commercial deals are moving dates around.

    Here are the release details:

    This week:

    GoAnywhere 2.0:

    - Drag and drop encryption (AES 256 bit FIPS compliant protection)
    - Auto allow signed apps (optional)
    - Update to GUI / Infobar etc.

    Dekstop 3.2:

    - Auto allow signed apps (optional)
    - DS being recognised by Windows as an AV product :argh:
    - Memory usage.

    Then….

    Driver protection.
    Internet firewall (in & out).
    and lots more....

    Thank you,

    Kate!
