    Why?
If you just post your bugs at the right place people can work on the bugs and solve them

I just had the same slowdown problems others have talked about. KIS 2009 works really good on my machine and I'm happy with it, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything essential from upgrading to KIS 2010. I don't mind waiting as long as KIS 2009 is still considered to be doing the job.

    When is CF2 coming out?

"Critical fix" - this should have been ironed out in beta testing. Kaspersky is now behaving like Microsoft, it would seem.

Most likely in October, when W7 is released.

I think you really need to leave Kaspersky alone and go somewhere else. All the posts you ever make about Kaspersky are negative and not constructive.

Do you work for them? Are they paying you? I doubt it.

My posts are very constructive. Now YOU go and get a life.

As you have shown above, I agree, Kaspersky should call it "Update#" or "SP#" instead. They're the same thing, but people get scared and jump to conclusions because of the words "Critical fix" and imagine it to be a huge bug/problem in the previous build.

CF2's primary change is Windows7 compatibility, of course, its difficult to test on something which wasn't yet finalized, which is why it couldn't have been ironed out in beta testing ;)

Most bugs are ironed out during beta testing and there is no point reiterating about testing/fixing procedures and complications of testing amongst so many software and hardware configurations being extremely difficult and time-consuming etc - as we already know about all this and complications during software development phases - or at least testers/developers know about it anyway.

Most software companies are always constantly developing, tweaking and fixing their software, which is why most software always have a constant flow of new updates, versions, patches etc coming out. Its inevitable and there's always room for improvement for any product.

@Dawgg... that is interesting to know, puts a different perspective on it.

Are you using KIS. Do you find the updating download speed (as compared to say NOD32) to be slow?

Yes, I am using KIS. I'm afraid I cannot comment on that as I have not recently used NOD32 (recently being some years).

I did some testing and KIS was faster for me than Eset
