Oh yeah, he uses all of them, but as I remember it, I believe McAfee was his favorite ... now he seems to prefer KAV, or am I just reading that into it?

I do prefer kav over mcafee now since kaspersky has made a few changes to their av. But I am useing neither one I am useing eTrust 7 server promo. With the dual scanning engines Vet and inoculate. And I have at one time or another I have used about every av available. There are a few good av's out there

Well that 'K' in your IE browser is the Kaspersky Script Checker :)

    Nothing to worry about ;)

well, three things have to be said at this point

Someone mentioned that ADS entries do cause a significant lengthening of the time it takes to defragment. Not good.

Kaspersky shot themself in the foot by sort of making a significant change in a clients computer without what I would call informed consent, and just walking away.

Other than that, I really liked the program. Great interface and speed, and performance!

--what about ad-aware, Karen? I didn't mean to ignore that...I just don't know. When I was using it I never knew what it was for! It would probably come down to if it can be set to clean folder, or partitions at a time, rather than click one at a time...40,000 times!
