Removed Off Topic Posts regarding McAfee and English language. Keep in mind that Wilders is an International Forum and for some our Members, it is not their first language so mistakes will occur.

The topic is Kaspersky; let's keep the focus on that. Thanks!

Same name I guess... Norton "ONE" - Kaspersky "ONE". Probably the OP should have specified lack of brand naming innovation. :)

Not the just the name, but the whole idea behind "One". You may a fee and can install on any devices. This is just the latest of a long list of Norton look-alike features from Kaspersky.

And how do we know who had the idea or announced it first at least? :D
Drawing conclusions too fast, proof or nothing  (And just FYI i'm not a Kaspersky fanboy but we have to be fair here)

Don't all "Internet Security Suites" have the same name and whole idea:-in fact they nearly all go as far as naming them identically apart from the vendor bit,i.e. nis2012 kis 2012:-I very much doubt we will see any vendor taking another to court claiming plagiarism

It's similar for everything. In the past when Windows XP arrived, every app had XP attached tot he name. Then Symantec released Norton 360 and everything carried 360 number next to the name. Now everyone will use One. But then again Aston Martin might have started this with their One-77 hehe...

Or ford complaining over Ferrari F150 F1 car because the name was too similar to their F-150 pickup truck. It just makes me wonder how would anyone confuse a pickup truck and a F1 racing car. It's not like they are "that" similar (apart from having 4 wheels and a steering wheel).

What about ESET ONE? Lol this is called ESET UNILICENSE, and it is applied already some time ago, with the extra you're not paying for a product or a version(like Kaspersky) but specific updates during a fixed time. ;)
