I am with you Z. Even though a few things need polish, it is good. On 32 bit, saferun desktop is very cool. Like having ShadowDefender in Kaspersky.

On this laptop it would not let me install as it said I still had ClamAV installed which I never did. I guess Immunet Protect is using Clam and Bitdefender in their product. Actually, they are.;)

New version is for sure quicker than 2010.
Has anyone experienced very long time for a full scan?
It stuck at 1% and it needs 3-5-10days! to complete the scan.
    Awful....

I've heard on Kaspersky forum that they will be beta-testing CF1 at end of June.

I'm staying with 2010 for the time being.

Yes I'm also sticking with KIS 2010 until CF1 is final.

KIS 2011 is quite light, but during scanning it takes about 350 - 400 Megs :ninja: ...

Even scanning was not very much fast...It really took ages to complete a scan (Light Scan) of 60 GB HDD (8 Hours)...During IDLE it was taking about 10 Megs, quite low though. But definitely IMO it was not light AV as compared to Avast, Norton or Panda Cloud...

There,s a setting there somewhere that lowers the scan process cpu in favour of normal pc operation. Was this ticked or was cpu priority set for scanning?

Yeah i am aware of that option, but if you check that option it will take ages to scan your system...:(

Yeah i guess it would ,but as long as it scans quietly in background without any impact id be happy.
