Hi, I have installed Kaspersky Total Security 2020 on one of my home computers. I tried to open fast.com, but it never opens. Page open, but not showing speed, just 0 is there. I disable Kaspersky and it worked. I tried all browsers too. but same result. Anyone idea, where it is blocking, so we can resolve it.
Try disabling one by one Anti-Banner and Private Browsing (if active), if not active try adding the URL as a Trusted URL in Web AntiVirus -> Advanced Settings -> Configure Trusted URLs
Ok so, I don't have Total Security, only Kaspersky Security Cloud - Free, but I also have this problem, and have done some of my own testing. For me, this is only in firefox. Fast.com works just fine in Edge. Turning off Inject script works, however, as the program tells you when doing this, it will reduce protection. Of all the things listed that script is "necessary" for, I only have/use 2 of them, Secure Data Input, and URL Advisor. With both turned off the problem still exists. This seems to be an issue with https (ssl) scanning in Mozilla applications. Turning off "Scan secure traffic in Mozilla applications" fixes this problem for me but I don't want to do that either. Simply adding an exclusion for fast.com under "Encrypted connection scanning" also works, but I hate adding exclusions, and also I wanted to see the speed WITH Kaspersky... The safest route seems to be the exclusion, however, what bothers me is the fact that other things are likely to also be broken by this, and I would rather not have to exclude sites from being scanned to make them work...
If a ssl issue then go to NetWork -> Scan encrypted connections -> add the URL in Mange Exlcusions...
I'v opened it here with KTS2020d (all modules enabled Anti-Banner, Private Browsing, script injection, and scan encrypted connections in default), and it works perfectly here, it shows me in real time the speed... no exclusions created... In my case I was redirected to: https://fast.com/es/ My results (in spanish):
Sorry, my question was meant for harlan, since he can't reproduce problem. I can reproduce problem in FF also and can resolve it by adding fast.com to ssl scanning exclusion.
