    @trjam

Running 7 smooth as ice but still just a little lag on surfing. However, too much features in it to give it up. Great program and great confirmation again that our keys will be changed so we can use it as free upgrade. Thanks again to you for checking and to KL for a great piece of software.

Hey Gary, try not adding web scanning and add Sandboxie. The best of both worlds.:)

Back to the original post title, so where do we all stand on this? I've heard KL will be giving new keys, but nowhere do I see that in firm writing, just a note from tech support saying "6 to 7 should be free". BUT in my goodly number of years on the internets I also know most companies read about half of what you write to them before firing off a reply (if one comes at all).

I see talk of the activation link being used for codes and key-making, well I have a key from my activation code.

Anyone that TRULY knows what is up with all this? TR has been out for a few days now so some info must be available from KL. I've received no reply in 2 days so I can't contribute, sadly.

I'm sorry for this situation that all users who have a Systweak key are facing. I did contact a sales person at Unistal regarding this issue but so far have not received any reply. Now I feel like a useless pig, because I am unable to get a proper response despite living in the same country as Unistal due to which contacting them was easier. I will let you know if I get anything, but until then I can only advise patience. :(

Don't feel bad, you can't force someone/someplace to take action.. DO wish KL or someone would come public about it, as I know there were A WHOLE BUNCH of licenses sold, more than just have posted here.

    this forum is biased!
    why are ppl panicking?

a key is a key, its unique and valid......

and there has been no word from kaspersky that they will stop certain licences from a free upgrade.

Geez, I must be invisible. Again, I have been assured with 2 emails from specific people, the actavation code will work once the official release is done. I not posting the emails here, well, unless it isnt true, but Kaspersky is not going to leave anyone hanging. They gain a lot more honoring them, then they would by not. Rest easy people.

SO who is going to issue these updated keys? Are they invalidating all keys and reissuing or just the systweak/uninstal ones?

You will not get a date.................in fact any date you read about you can ignore it because it is not one made by anyone who knows.

It will be released offcially when marketing decides it's time, this may be next friday, late june or..........................the point is it is all speculation. :)

so one must wonder then, did they specifically exclude these keys or was it by accident? I say this since you say yours (non-systweak I presume) are working fine..

I honestly can't say for sure, it may be older type keys, it may be "Ebaykeys" etc etc and lets not forget the cracked keys. I've had users contact me with keys they say are genuine and they can't use them and when support takes a look at them, it turns out to be cracked keys, they may not even know they bought such a key, they just found a great discount somewhere outside official channels and yes, i do not have any systweak keys, only codes bought through the official shop.

The best thing is to contact support if your key

Having said that, Have you Noticed how quickly a year passes these days  I always buy 2 or 3 years for the simplicity of not having to Worry about yearly renewals :cautious:

I kept trying to tell this to everyone. Kaspersky was not, nor will they drop the ball on this. I have to admit they are pretty customer focused.
