Me too, but don't hold your breath.
Original developers / admin.s. are no longer involved.
A "friendly takeover" of the project is under consideration by a loose knit group of well-meaning developers / devottees of the "Green Lizard", trying to pick up the pieces where things were left off.
Great bunch of dedicated guys, but there is no real unified core for organized development.
I sincerely wish them best of luck, as K-meleon is too good to be allowed to wither on the vine.

after trying k-meleon it's now added to the recommended browsers. not as powerful as firefox, or opera, i think ..but it's nice, especially since its opensource and easy to use/config, and fast at loading it can be considred my (when windows is slow) browser because others like firefox and opera can take to long (too many extensions, custimzations ect) to load, besides lynx (which is like going back to dos) which is fast but not as easy to use. all four browsers are recommended

Well the main strength with open source (security)projects would be its rates of frequently updates, which I´m afraid, isn´t K-Meleons melody...However, if you want to speed up the download times, then do not hesitate, K-Meleon would be your choice...:thumb:

Actually there are so MANY new K-mel builds/releases nowadays that it boggles the mind -- about one per week recently. Just check the K-Mel forum & see for yourself.

The new *K-Mel team* works closely together, & knows their stuff. Plus the forum's community of K-mel fanatics includes some smarter-than-the-average-bear computer geeks to give moral support & constructively test new builds.

Yes there is, but isn´t most of the releases from different groups developing K-Meleon independently from eachother, if I have understood everything correctly? And if that is the case I totally agree with you, it is confusing...

I loiter about the "Green Lizard" forum often, being a K-mel devotee, and couldn't help but notice there's a character there posting with the same handle as you! (You should sue)
Never mind, coincidence, I'm sure. ;)

    cheers
