Back to preparing the next lesson to create 'Text on a vector path'. :D

He sure's going to be very busy with all the links
I put into that PM. :D
If you need some more, I'll send it to you.

Take your time, I'm going to be very busy too during the weekend.
OT: Electricity is fixed. A simple defect waterboiler was the culprit. :doubt:

No need to be sorry. I also hate it when posting mistakes, although I really understood what you meant. :)

Was responding to two topics here and elsewhere at the same time and forgot this one.

Thanks for the lovely GIF. Saved it.

    Hey Eric!![IMG]

Remember me?? Your most favorite student??

OK well, I tried your last lesson~with the mountain look'in thing~

Well..........let's just say.........I'm not ready to move on quite yet.

Got as far as #2........not quite sure how you got the mountain looking arrow thing.
Not sure what you ment by the "bending A"??

My heads kinda stuffed up with allergies right now.......so maybe I missed something. :doubt:

Anyway, I got the floating text....and had the ants around it.....but, the strange thing is......is when I got the paintbrush......I wasn't able to paint in a color, hummmmmm.

Well, this is what I ended up with......not much. I'll give it another try pretty soon.

Might take a couple more days off..........nothings gonna sink in my brain right now anyway being sick.

    Haven't forgotten you Cindy. ;)

Best to put it to rest for now and first get better. I know how those allergies can be.
My wife & two sons have allergies too. :doubt:

Take good care of yourself and when you feel up to it give me a call. :-*

Insert first your vector object (ex. circle).
Afterwards use the Text Tool and touch the border of your vector object. The [A] will change to a bended A.
When you see this, press the left mouse button to insert your text there. :)

    That's strange. o_O
Are you sure you're not creating it as Selection Text, instead of the Floating Text?
Look at the top Toolbar. 'Create as' should be set to Floating.
Sometimes it happens to me to when I don't pay attention to the setting
    it was set before.

Give it a try as soon as you possibly can. ;)

    Looking good Rita. :D
It's a start of many more to come.

Take it slow, because PSP has a steep learning curve.
Once you know the basics, tools, features, you too will become quite
good at making your own tags & pictures.

So that's something to look forward.

    Well done. :-*

    Rita....Rita.......Rita!!

    You are doing great!!

And that picture looks soooo good!!

You've only had 2 lessons!! LOL And both lessons you figured out in 2 days!!

    Girl, give yourself some credit!!

After you have your text on your picture~

Now, that you know how to do the text...
.And have it pulled and stretched the way you like it with the red box thing....
..try using the mesh Warp thing.

    First click the Select......(top row)
then click Select none (to remove the red box)

    then the Mesh Warp....

its down the left side~like in the 2nd one down. You'll need to click on the teeny little arrow to make the menu drop down. And your looking for the "Mesh Warp"

When you click on it....it will put like a square grid on your picture. Then, the coolest thing.....everywhere the lines cross...you can move and stretch it on your picture.

When your done having fun goof'in up your text........you'll need to click on something else on the left side to remove the grid.....
    ..like the text A.......or anything

Yep!! Feeling A LOT better!! The bowling ball in my head is finally gone!! Yayyyy!!!!!!! Back to normal......as normal as that is LOL

Hey Eric, remember this big brownie you got awhile back??

It was saved in my pictures.

Hope ya don't mind me catch'in Rita up

    Hey Rita!

LOL!! Good job on your "Eric" (looks a little creepy~wonder if he'll get tired of seeing his name on pictures?)

    Color text:

Looking at the screen........look at the top right side.....see the two color boxes kind of diangle to each....I'm talking about the bigger ones (I'm not real sure what the teeny ones do. Well, the one on the top left side is the teeny , weeny, reallyyyyyyyyy, little outline edge of the letters. And the color in the bottom right side box is the color that will be in the middle of the letter. See the up/down arrows just to the left of them?? If you click that it will switch them. Remember, all you have to do to change the colors is to click on the inside of the box. And WA La[IMG]
there's all your different choices....plus remember, you can always match colors that are in your picture.

    [bounce]Hey Hey Hey!![/bounce]

I figured you out again!! Eric!!

Its kinda of like a game~

"which teeny, weeny, little, bity, small but won't work without it... step did Eric assume that I already knew.......hummmmmmmm"

I'm just teas'in ya, Eric. Your doing a great job!!

I almost couldn't figure out that I had to chose a big black shape and then how to get it on my picture.

I've kind of learned ........ you just click on things and the whole world can change!!

And didn't know I had to draw it on[IMG]

Then had to play with getting the text on there just right.

Wellllllll......as you can see this try didn't go so well..........LOL
