Not bad at all Rita. You also rotated the text.

    Tastful brownie Cindy. Well done.
Wonderful to use that Mesh Warp. :D
Everything concerning the start on text is explained in this thread.
Start at the beginning and you'll learn it fast enough, like Cindy did. :-*
She did a really great job. The first steps to get better and better. :D
And no I don't get tired of seeing my name on her pictures. :p

LOL, good to hear you really understood you had to first insert the vector object (circle, triangle, ...).
Yeah, lots of buttons to push and they each act differently.
Is that the church from Brussels?
It's really well done. You really got it now. :D
As long as your text is floating you can apply everything you like. Here's some information on the drop shadow.

    And here's the result. ;)

    Your doing it!!

    Yayyyy!! Isn't it cool!!

That Mesh tool thing is one of my favs!!

When I do it.....I try to kind of just move the text just a little, and kind of make it look like its flowing. I usually move many of the lines just a little. Don't really do much squishing in.........mostly pulling out from the edge.

    ~Hope that helps~

I love the pictures you start with!!

    Do'in good, Sis!!

    You did it Rita.
    Great tool isn't it?
And you're going to love the Warp Brush too. :D
Can be found under the Paint Brush Tool.
See my picture below so you'll know what it can do.
We don't mind at all. Welcome here Sonya.
Sure, lots of stuff & tricks to learn, so the more the merrier.
You're animations are really well done. :D
You're trying to run, before even taking your first steps.
If you want to give it try, you may. Have a look at this tutorial.
All in good time, never try to rush things, if you don't even know PSP.
Familiarize yourself first with PSP basics, tools, menus, ... ;)
It's very pretty, but to know who's behind the Warp isn't so easy. :D

Oh, that's bad. Don't do that Rita. :D

    Hey Eric!!

    I'm in a rut!!

I can't figure out how to remove the big black arrow without it removed the effect.

Everytime I hit 'Delete' it pops my text back to going straight line across the picture.....like the arrow thing wasn't there at all.

    What am I forgetting........that I knew yesterday!!

:D That's something to pay attention too. PSP always remembers the previous setting.
Glad you found it back. Keep practising until you know it by heart. ;)
    Lovely Rita, nicely done.
Having a ball with the Mesh Warp. :D
When using the Text Tool you can change the size, font in the Text palette.
Press F4 to get your Tools palette back. ;)

    My pleasure Rita. :-*
Nope, when you exit PSP your previous settings are used on restart.
When finishing a picture, the same is true, when starting a new one. :doubt:
You can always save your preset, so you can easily set it to default. :)

The top one is the one I moved.......I didn't want the other there anymore.....oh well.

This is getting frustrating!!! How did I do this before!

Eric, (if your still looking here) why can't I get rid of that other text when I move it~
you know, when I get the ants around it.

And for some reason, on this one...it didn't copy the text from the another picture I applied text on
(get it?? I was trying to copy/paste text from a different pic on to this one)

    http://tcwozere.co.uk/smileys/ac39.gif

Don't worry......this is another copy of the orginal picture....not replacedhttp://img115.exs.cx/img115/9916/z4dwink.gif

    [MOVE]I DID IT!!![/MOVE]

instead of pasting it as a "new layer"

I pasted it as "a transparent selection" !!!!!!

    ~sorry, if that's moving ahead Eric~

I used the clouds from Ivan for the lettershttp://img115.exs.cx/img115/9916/z4dwink.gif
