Everything concerning the start on text is explained in this thread.
Start at the beginning and you'll learn it fast enough, like Cindy did.

She did a really great job. The first steps to get better and better.
And no I don't get tired of seeing my name on her pictures.

 

LOL, good to hear you really understood you had to first insert the vector object (circle, triangle, ...).

Yeah, lots of buttons to push and they each act differently.

I used the arrow shape........those are kind of funky to work with.........
.....then the mesh thing on this one.

Oh ya, I remember the shadow thing now....haven't used it too much.

That Mesh tool thing is one of my favs!!

When I do it.....I try to kind of just move the text just a little, and kind of make it look like its flowing. I usually move many of the lines just a little. Don't really do much squishing in.........mostly pulling out from the edge.

If you want to give it try, you may. Have a look at this tutorial.
All in good time, never try to rush things, if you don't even know PSP.
Familiarize yourself first with PSP basics, tools, menus, ...

It's very pretty, but to know who's behind the Warp isn't so easy.

Hey Eric!!

I'm in a rut!!

I can't figure out how to remove the big black arrow without it removed the effect.

Everytime I hit 'Delete' it pops my text back to going straight line across the picture.....like the arrow thing wasn't there at all.


What am I forgetting........that I knew yesterday!!

made you something,how do I get my fonts and size thing back (loaded).I cant find it lol--having to use the same old font size etc I used on last pic--I'm always losing something lol and cant get it back

That's something to pay attention too. PSP always remembers the previous setting.

Glad you found it back. Keep practising until you know it by heart.

Having a ball with the Mesh Warp.

When using the Text Tool you can change the size, font in the Text palette.
Press F4 to get your Tools palette back.

Nope, when you exit PSP your previous settings are used on restart.
When finishing a picture, the same is true, when starting a new one.
You can always save your preset, so you can easily set it to default.

not sure why the first "Ivan" stayed on the picture when I was moving it??
The top one is the one I moved.......I didn't want the other there anymore.....oh well.
