just curious plz, about a program

Question,(2) i hope someone can help with,

situation, run win98se,
U go to micro win update site & down load all the updates for your o/s ok

then you want to stay updated, so you install a program called BIGFIX,

Question,1,
When u run bigfix & it lists a download/fixer/patch ect,
IS IT listing a duplicate fix, that you may have already downloaded from microsoft win update??
or
Is it listing one that microsoft did not include or that you did not download from micro site??
Question 2,
Is ther another simular program (freebie) on the internet that works as good ir better then Bigfix

As far as I know, Bigfix not only checks for missing Windows updates or patches but also for application incompatibilities, outdated programs or other potential software problems.
