Just a thought about beta problems - software incompatibilities.

I recently re-setup XP home in a dual boot configuration along with XP x64 just so that I could test this beta. I only did this because there is no x64 support yet. I haven't set up the system to do everything that I do with my 64 bit O/s mainly because I'm just too lazy to work that hard on it. So my 32 bit O/s has just the essentials right now.

I find that the beta works really well for me. The only problem I had was the Interactive firewall thing and that was fixed with Beta 1a. I didn't run the 32 bit O/s on the day of the bad update so I missed out on that one. It just seems to me that the problems that others are having are probably due to incompatibility with other software.

Just a thought. Of course I'm no techno-geek so take that for what it's worth. Thank you.
