Just a statement and please make comments about Prevx 3.0

    A vast majority of our false positives are on software that is only ever seen by one or two users, so, for the fastest "response", right clicking the file will certainly correct it. If anything is affecting more than a miniscule number of users, we will likely have fixed it before we receive the email but we still appreciate manual notification if you have the time to do so. The only time where reporting a file by right clicking it will take longer is when it actually hasn't affected any other user, in which case, you right clicking the file corrects the problem automatically :)

    Every time that we determine a file as malicious or write a rule to do so, we can see exactly how many pieces of software will be affected, how many times warnings have been shown to end users about each individual rule/file, and how many times the warnings have been ignored/overridden or acknowledged and cleaned up.

    The Wilders community does tend to use odd software which is why some users could have had more FPs than most but we are aware of every detection made by the product as all decisions take place centrally so when we say we have very few FPs, we actually have data to base this claim on :)
