This may not have been a component in the hack, but I would like to know why almost all the major banks use the weakest encryption available. Chase Bank (owned by JPMorgan), and Bank of America only score 23% with Calomel SSL validation. That pathetic considering what is at stake!

OT: Incredible how large JP Morgan is with 76 million accounts. That's 1/4 the population of the USA. (76 million accounts were hacked-maybe millions more were not) Frightening the ineptitude of their security vs. the intelligence of the hackers.

Bet a lot of the big Investment Bankers,Trading Firm and Hedge Fund Managers, and Exchange Officials carry two extra sets of underwear in their brief cases. You know it's inevitable that digital money will be transferred out of accounts or made to "disappear." Imagine the chaos. Cyberwarfare.

Would be as devastating as if every citizen learned about the Big Scam = what fiat currency is, that money is debt, and the Federal Reserve is owned by private banks. Considering the fact that a recent Pew Research Poll showed that only 33% of the country could name the three branches of the US Government I guess we have not to worry about them learning what "money" is.

So, Chase is doing flipflops issuing Visa cards in exchange for MasterCards, and vice versa.

Uh. Fine. But, uh - what about next week's new hack? Discover? Then AmEx? What's after that? "Hello, Mr. DinersClub? Have I got a deal for you!!"
