I'm a long-time user of NOD but I've only just found this forum :)

Until today my MUA showed the 'checked by NOD' at the end of every email.

I found the 'settings' sticky and changed one or two things as suggested. I didn't change the IMON setting 'Append notification to all email' - it's still set to 'all email'.

However, now none of my emails show the 'checked by NOD'! Is there a setting that conflicts with the IMON one?

    TIA.

Not that I know of, have you tried rebooting?

    Cheers :D

Yes. I've just noticed another couple of things too.

I've just switched on again and d/loaded emails. Again, they're all missing the end message. Two of the messages contained the netsky worm but the subject line wasn't modified with [virus %VirusName%] even though my settings suggest otherwise (and they always have).

On further examination of all the messages I've found a full stop [.] where the end message should be :doubt:

I did, but not that bit. Mine's the same as yours and always has been.

I changed the scanner setup settings:
Heuristics sensitivity - from standard to deep
System - List all files [ticked]

    and

    Advanced setup:
Log intrusion attempts to the virus log [ticked]

Isn't the number of scanned email increasing with each message received? Would you please download and run the utility npe (http:\\eset.zftp.com/npe.exe) and send the outcome to support@nod32.com with a description of the problem?

Yes, IMON still 'works' - just had two netskys - its just the two textual add-ons that don't appear any more.

    Report on its way.

    Thanks for the support.

I await your solution to this as I also want to know how I can get the Nod message back at the botton of all my emails.

Did you change anything on your port?? I did to 9o_O? and had to do that after installing the beta again.

Not sure if the last message was to me but no, I've not changed anything on my port and I'm not using the beta version.

I've sent a diagnostic to Marcos and I'm waiting for his reply.

Please give the beta a try first. Is the email not signed by NOD in a plain text, rich text or HTML format, or it doesn't matter at all?

The new beta cured both problems :)

Still don't know why the problem suddenly occured in the first place but...

BW, it was on all emails.

    Thanks for the support.

Let me guess. Non-administrative account on a XP SP1? As you noticed, that problem has been fixed in the new beta.

    Best regards,
    Anders
