Itunes doesn't recognize some of my mp3 files.

These files that itunes can't play can be played by wmp without a problem. I've tried to covert those mp3 files to wav and then convert it back to mp3 with xrecode2 using different methods(CBR VBR etc.) But none works. Especially,itunes can't even play the wav files which were converted from the "bad" mp3 files.
Could anyone help plz?
