    Is there a video on youtube somewhere of the presentation or was it just made for reading?

    I'm glad to see that I'm using two of the mentioned Firefox extensions, namely Certificate Patrol and Perspectives. The other one, Certlock mentioned here, is not yet released, IMO (see also these remarks). They are a great to mitigate the risks but are no final solution for the basic problem.
