    ... says a website which has Facebook, 2o7 and lots of other trackers imbedded. How hypocritical.

    Why would they care about privacy, they care about tracking us as much as possible, and google analytics does a better job of that

    Good point, but I believe the article is about better alternatives to Google Analytics. Apparently these new companies are more focused on privacy.

    It's not exactly hard to block. Either an ad/script blocker or in my case the firewall I use will block it as well:

    So I don't see the big deal about this.
