It's still build 788

Hi there,

About one month ago several people experienced problems with build 788. A new build was announced back then, see

Hello Hanni,

If you have in mind the problem with unlocking when trying to run spyware deletion then please try the following workaround:

1. Uninstall Acronis Privacy Expert Suite 8.0
2. Install the 748 build
3. Install the 789 build over the 748

Other problems mentioned in the refered post were also fixed in the 789 build.

Sorry for not expressing myself more clearly; what I wanted to know was:

Where is the new build (you mentioned 789)?

When I log in, only the old build 788 as of September 15th is offered (German version).

Hello Hanni,

Please note that sometimes build numbers may vary depending on the language version of the particular product. E.g. german version may have the 791 current build number containing some grammatical fixes while the english build is still 789 and vice versa.

Please contact our German Support Team from our web-site: http://www.acronis.de/homecomputing/my/support/ . They will provide you with the appropial build of Acronis Privacy Expert Suite 8.0. Please don't forget to send the link to this thread.

I'm afraid it's still build 788 in either case.
