It never asked me for the serial number

    I just installed True Image 11 for the second time. The install program never asked me to enter the serial number.

    Weird.

    If this second installation is on the same computer (did you uninstal then re-install?) then the s/n is probably already stored in the registry somewhere.

    Yes the same computer. I deleted the account in which True Image was installed. I then installed True Image to a different account.

    AS l;ong as you installed "for all users" in both cases, that should have left the key available.

    I didn't install for all users. I only installed for the current user.

    Please be aware that the registry key that stores serial number is located in the system branch rather than particular user's branch. So, if that key isn't deleted, it will be found during the installation process and used.
