Hi, I am having a massive problem with my XP SP3 based PC.

I cant boot to Windows and the culprit seems to be eamon.sys and easdrv.sys.

I have uninstalled via Safe Mode Nod32 - but, the PC still wont boot to Windows.

I notice that there seems to have been an issue with a recent Nod32 update and some of the other posts have referenced these two files.

Since I have uninstalled them from my system - how could they still be interfering with the windows boot?

Is there a fix for this?

Hello, I haven't got problem after update. Did you have any malware or did you do any changes in drivers? There can be damaged Registry values of eamon and easdrv. The best will be, when you make a log from ESET SysInspector, which you send to support[at]eset.com.

Did you have a problem with these drivers before you did an update?

How can I do a manual uninstall of Nod 32?

I have deleted the Eset folders and eamon.sys, epfwtdir and easdrv.sys drivers that were reported in the minidump as preventing the PC from booting. I also used a reg cleaner to delete the Eset reg entries.

However, there must be other Eset stuff still around because the PC still wont boot.

Can someone please advise a list of other drivers I need to delete?
