Issue with Athlon X2

hello, i had a problem with NOD 2.7 (not sure about the build number, i got it around three or four months ago) on an athlon x2 pc i just built. As soon as windows finishes booting the nod32kernel service goes up and stays at 50% cpu usage (the task manager shows one of the cores at peak usage) and the speed of the system goes drastically down. there were not any scheduled scans just the resident protection, i had to remove it and put kaspersky 7 trial instead. i wonder if someone got a similar problem or its just my pc?

 

I have a system with an athlon dual core and no issues what so ever. Since you removed it and have KAV, I'm guessing it's a closed issue, but if you re-install it verify you download the latest version from Eset's website, and from there we should be able to help figure out what might be the issue..
