    That is a bit scary. I dont care about ads since I never see any and even if I did there would not be anything of interest for me even if they know my surfing habits..
    But if a thing is possible it will be used by the bad guys, may it be common criminals or politicians.

    I would not mind if ISPs used DPI to block harmful traffic (functioning similarly to IDS) but using that info to track and target consumers with ADs is just wrong. What's next (especially from ISPs)?
