Just started testing it last evening. There is a Free version and Pro version available. See the other thread for links.
    Reboot after installing.
    Hide Icon is fixed.
Pro you will need to add the registry entry to pull the library update. It is still online.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sygate Technologies, Inc.\Sygate Personal Firewall
Edit -> Add String Value named SMCUpdateVersion For the data value enter 5.5.3043
Update will now work. The Trojan Library will be installed but it will not display the build number when the manual update is forced.
If the update server stops responding, I'll post a backup of the dat files with directions on how to apply them.

    Thanks red_jack & Peter_UK,

I guess I can copy sdi.dat and trojan.dat from my SPFP 5.5 2710 and overwrite
    the 3408 files.?

Yes. Stop the firewall service and replace the backup dat files. Restart the service. No need to add the registry entry unless a new signature base is updated.
You need to be logged in with Admin priv at CMD Prompt (No fast user switching).
    net stop smcservice
Replace sdi.dat and trojan.dat from the old build.
    net start smcservice

Replace and reboot will have the same effect.

The current signature base is 5.5.3044
    signature library: 1066
    trojan library: 1023

With the newer 5.6 builds the start of the service from CMD line (like above) will bring up the GUI interface (Icon to Systray). It will take few seconds to start the service and bring up the GUI session but there is no need for the CMD switches like before.
