BB's emerged as stand alone aps when BB was innovative, now it matured and it is integrated into AV's and acts as an IDS for sandboxing and containment (run safer like options) combined with PE-analysis and vendor reputation scoring.

Problably these combo implementations are more silent and less prone to false positives and user knowledge.

So for a Best of Breed setup guy like you the options are shrinking
