is there a decent anti virus only , no firewall or other ad ons included

    been looking and cannot find one , udsed to use vipre but that has a firewall and other junk I DON'T WANT OR NEED

    Hm... Kaspersky Free AV, maybe. You can check out everything you don't need and it is not that full of bloatware.

    If you include native solutions: Windows Defender. I'm unsure if you could argue that it has a firewall or not. :/

    Just don't even try Avira Free Antivirus. It's installs like six other programs without asking. I even had to reimage the PC, but I am not certain if it was the fault of Avira that my graphic driver got messed up..

    I don't know if this helps, but Webroot doesn't mess around with the Windows firewall but accepts it as is as a very satisfactory inbound firewall that doesn't need improving on in any way. It does have an outbound firewall however (meant to complement the Windows inbound firewall).

    That said, it DOES have a Web filter (imho rather good). But this can be disabled if you don't care for that kind of thing.
